Mokokchung DPDB meeting held

MOKOKCHUNG, NOVEMBER 16 (MExN): Mokokchung District Planning and development Board (DBDP) meeting for the current month was held at Deputy Commissioner Conference Hall on November 16.

The meeting was held under the chairmanship of Chairman, Mokokchung DBDP and Advisor Water Resources, Tongpang Ozukum. The Chairman on behalf of all the DBDP members acknowledged and appreciated K. Temjen Jamir, Proprietor of Tir Yimyim for donating 500 copies of Mokokchung Vision 2040 documentation booklets as a token to commemorate 20 years of Tir Yimyim Publications, a DIPR report stated.

Taking up the agenda for the meeting, Principal ITI Mokokchung delivered a brief report on Job Mela undertaken by District Skill Committee which has been scheduled to be held in the month of January 2024. An update on the coaching class for aspiring NPSC and NSSB candidates from the district was shared by the management committee members.

Power point presentation on departmental activities was presented by EE PWD (NH) and District Fishery Officer.

The Board also approved and forwarded the application for registration of new society ‘Mokokchung Lotha Hoho’ and the upgradation of Government Primary School Moalenden to Government Middle School Moalenden.

ADC Mokokchung Chumlamo Humtsoe, briefed the members on the upcoming Mokokchung District Inter-Departmental sports meet scheduled from November 23-25.

The Chairman also informed the Departments of Urban Development and PWD (R&B) for power point presentation during the next DPDB meeting.
