The 3rd Mokokchung Inter-Club Badminton Championships organised by the
Mokokchung District Badminton Association concluded on October 20 at Badminton stadium, Mokokchung.
The Shuttlers, Chuchuyimpang (A) were declared the champions while Longsa Sporting club were the runner up.
The special invitee during the closing function Col KS Kataria, Commandant, 44 Assam Rifles gave away the prizes to the winners while Dr Watizulu Suzumeren, NBA Vice President and Joint Secretary Badminton Association of India gave away the awards to the Most promising player of the tournament Male, Alichang of Longsa Sporting Club and Most Promising Player of the Tournament Female, Imlikumla of The Shuttlers (A). The most valuable player of the tournament was awarded to Tanya Bordoloi of The Shuttlers (A).
The tournament synopsis was given by T Molung Aier whike Tiakumzuk, President, MDBA said the vote of thanks.
