Mon, April 8 (MExN): The Mon Chamber of Commerce & Industry (MCCI) has fixed the rates for various commodities – essential and non essential – besides other services.
A press release from the MCCI informed that its Office Bearers and Executive members held a meeting for fixation of rates at MCCI Office Mon Head Quarter on March 28 and after a “long discussion,” the house finalised the rates to be implemented in Mon Town.
All business establishments of Mon Town are to follow this notification and if any shopkeepers are found violating the rates, action will be taken seriously, the MCCI stated.
It requested the Assistant District Supply Officer, storekeepers, VDBs, Co-ordinator SSA and all Fair Price Shop distributors not to entertain BPL, AAY, MDM or Annapurna rice in the market. “MCCI will not be responsible for such cases,” it added.
