Kohima, June 7 (MExN): Five goals from the tournament’s leading goal scorer Mele helped Amur Falcon deliver a crushing 8-0 win over Silver White in the ongoing Morning Premier League here at the Local Ground Kohima on Wednesday.
The five goals took Mele’s league goal count to 23. Teammates Roko, Seyie and Benlo scored one each to complete the rout as Amur Falcons reclaimed fourth place from Merhulietsa FC. Both teams are on 27 points from 14 games however the Falcons have a better goal difference of +27 as opposed to Merhulietsa’s +5. Silver White continue to languish at the bottom of the table with just one point from 14 games.
