MYC organizes Top Acts Season 2

KOHIMA, September 25 (MExN): Muskan Youth Centre (MYC) under the aegis of FPA India Nagaland Branch organized the September Edition of Top Acts Season 2 on September 22 at Muskan Youth Centre, Kohima.  

It was held under the theme 'Safe Spaces for youth' in twine with the International Youth Day.  

Top Acts is a program aimed at young people to enable them space and platform to showcase their skills in any performing art, a press release from Sentilemla Lonkumer, M&E Officer, FPA India Nagaland Branch informed.  

The September Edition of Top Acts witnessed different genre of music and dances. Guest artists The One Destiny band also entertained. Sentisangla Oungth won the Best Performer Title.  

Artist Dieze Sothu, a, member of Top Acts encouraged the youngsters to pursue their dreams simultaneously doing well in studies. He also shared his struggles in the music industry and motivated the young artists to stay humble despite gaining popularity. He also advised them to stay tobacco free. All 4th saturdays are booked for Top Acts at the Muskan Youth Centre which also serves as the Reproductive Health & Family Planning Clinic (RHFPC) Satellite Centre during other working days wherein services on Child Immunisation, Family Planning counseling and free services including Adolescents friendly Centre services are available at Kohima near the NSF Martyrs Park, the release also informed.   Any young artist desiring to participate in any of the Top Acts edition may simply send a short demo of their performance and join for free on the appointed day.
