With the sole objective of promoting local entrepreneurs, Native Trends Nagaland and Ethnic Trendzanda are organizing an event named, ‘Naga Entrepreneurs Conclave’ (NEC) from November 17-18, 11 am to 8 pm at Urban Haat, Dimapur.
Briefing media persons about the event in Dimapur on Wednesday, the organizers said that they were looking towards providing a platform for local entrepreneurs to strongly establish themselves and connect them to other businesses. “The event is also for the entrepreneurs to promote each other’s business,” one of the members said.
“NEC is an innovation to enhance traditional marketing style by bringing together all the existing local owned businesses and enterprise with the idea of connecting one business with another through such business conclave and activities,” stated a handout provided by the organizers.
During the two-day event under the tagline, “Support Local,” besides setting up of stalls by local entrepreneurs, various activities like dog show, musical entertainment, Nikon photo workshop etc would also be held.
It was informed that a stall/registration fee of Rs 1000 would be realized from Dimapur based local entrepreneurs while Rs 500 would be realized from entrepreneurs of the districts. The forms would be available at The Garden, Dimapur and World of Titan, Dimapur. Last date of receiving forms is November 6.
The event is being supported by Dimapur Municipal Council, Business Association of Nagas and Fingerprint.
