Naga wrestlers reach Turkmenistan for Asian Indoor & Martial Arts Games

Kohima, September 18 (MExN): As part of the Indian contingent, 6 wrestlers and 2 officials from Nagaland Wrestling Association (NWA) landed in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan to take part in the 5th Asian Indoor & Martial Arts Games which is being held from scheduled from September 17 to 22.  

According to NWA sources from Ashgabat, the 6 NWA wrestlers are part of the 43 belt wrestlers representing India in the Games. The six include: Surhoneyi Soho, Vechita Khesoh, Venuzo Dawhuo, Menuosetuo Yiese, Keduovilie Zumu and Visevop Zashümo. NWA President, Neivikuolie Khatsü and General Secretary, Vekhozo are also part of the Indian contingent.  

All 6 wrestlers will be vying for their respective categories competition at least 2 or more disciplines.
