Nagabazar edges Power Comm in KFL

    Our Correspondent Kohima | August 11   Nagabazar FC on Friday edged Power Comm FC 1-0 on the third day of the Kohima Football League organised by Kohima Town Club here at the Kohima Local Ground, Khuochiezie.   Ketholetuo Dzeyie scored in the 72nd minute helping Nagabazar secure all 3 points.   Later, in a pre-match briefing for Saturday’s game, Ziekezou SC Team officials expressed excitement to be a part of the tournament and hoped that they would do well in their match against a formidable New Market FC.   Ziekezou SC Captain Kevizapu Lhoungu however exuded confidence in his team saying, "We are facing a tough team but we are expecting good result because our team has been practicing and preparing for one month."   Meanwhile, an official of New Market FC lauded the organizers for organizing the tournament and stated that the league is a good platform to boost the players.   The NMFC official also expressed hope that fans would turn out in good numbers for their first match.   NMFC skipper Stephen Rutsa said, "Football is lacking in Nagaland and this Kohima Football League should benefit the players and we should level up with the players of other states."   August 12 match New Market FC vs Ziekezou SC @ 3:00 pm
