Unresponsive ‘Submit’ button stalls online registration

Over 500 people have completed home quarantine in Nagaland as on March 30. This was informed at a briefing of the State Cabinet jointly by the Home and Health departments today.

 

According to day’s update, a total of 4096 people, including students, who have returned from outside the State, from  March 6 onwards have self reported to the respective District Surveillance Teams. “Out of which 3594 are presently under home quarantine and 502 have completed home quarantine,” it said.

 

A total of 2364 persons registered through the Self Declaration ncovid-19 Nagaland App “with completed details,” while 1099 persons have yet to complete the process.

 

While the state government reiterated its request to people, who have returned after March 6, to register through the online app, there were reports of people facing difficulty accessing the app and registering.

 

In Dimapur, one person could not complete the registration process as the portal became unresponsive. He said that he had filled up the necessary “fields” as required but when he pressed the “Submit” button, it did not respond. The process was repeated but faced the same problem again, he said.

 

An unresponsive “submit” button was encountered by another person, who also could not complete the procedure.
