Nagaland BJP committed to its alliance partners, says Patton

MON, MARCH 23 (MExN): Nagaland Deputy Chief Minster Y Patton on Saturday said the BJP is committed to its alliance partners while assuring the people that the Peoples’ Democratic Alliance (PDA) government will complete its full term in office by providing a development driven good governance in the state.

Addressing the 8th BJP executive meeting cum state convention at Mon town, Patton said the BJP Nagaland had secured a record number of seats in the last Assembly Election and became an important constituent partner with PDA which recently completed its one year in office.

According to a press release from the Deputy CM Media Cell, Patton said they decided to hold “today’s program at Mon town in line with the BJP firm beliefs in giving an equal opportunity” to all districts in the state.

The BJP has been holding executive meet in different districts one after the other to ensure the same, he added.

Patton also acknowledged the presence of BJP national general secretary Ram Madhav and North East Zonal Secretary, Ajay Jamwal at the meeting as a sign of party’s commitment to the state.

On the upcoming election to the lone Lok Sabha seat in Nagaland, Patton, on behalf of all the BJP legislators, assured to work with determination to get a record winning margin of their consensus candidate Tokheho Yepthomi.
