Nerhema Village FC, Khriekesa FC enter finals

Nerhema Village FC and Khriekesa FC, Meriema today entered the finals after registering win in their respective semi final matches at the ongoing Capt. (Late) N. Kenguruse District Level Football Tournament 2018 organized here by 3rd (Naga Hills) Battalion, Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (North).
In the first semi final, Nerhema Village FC downed Naga FC 4-2.
Shurhosül opened the account for Nerhema in the 5th minute and later contributed another goal in the 34th minute.
Petevizo and Menguzelie netted a goal each for the team in the 32nd and 90+3rd minute.
Naga FC gained a goal each through Johnny Ritse and Rhitsho Mero in the 29th and 73rd minute respectively.
In the second semi finals, Khriekesa FC defeated Ziekiezou FC 4-1.
It was first Ziekezou FC took 1-0 lead till 28th minute through the boot of Vilhoubeituo.
The equalizer for Khriekesa FC came through Ratobe in the 43rd minute.
20 minutes later, Khrieneituo Kezieo increased the Khriekesa FC’s tally to FC 2-1.
Achamo and Nzauhut connected a goal each for Khriekesa FC in the 73rd and 82nd minute respectively.
Youth resources & sports advisor Er. Zale Neikha graced the match as special guest. The grand finale will take place on September 5 at 2:30 pm.
Brigadier Sandeep Sharada, Deputy Inspector General, HQ 5 Sector Assam Rifles will grace the valedictory function.
The champion will carry a cash prize of Rs. 25, 000 while runner-up will get Rs. 15,000. Golden boot and golden glove winners will also be awarded with Rs. 2500 each.
