The Nagaland Chamber Choir presents Harmonic Surge 2

Come October, a wonderful opportunity for music enthusiasts to look forward to, is Harmonic Surge 2- a choral fiesta, an upgrade of Harmonic Surge 1st edition held in 2014. It is an inclusive choral festival which is being organised by The Nagaland Chamber Choir (TNCC) with the aim to encourage interaction and unity amongst churches/groups, to promote church music and professionalism in choral singing, and to provide a platform for musicians where talents are sustained for effective ministry.   The festival holds promises for churches, musicians, choirs to come together and inspire, encourage, and learn from one another. In celebration of the beautiful tradition of music – Let harmony Surge.   Date: October 14-16, 2013   Venue: Dimapur Sumi Baptist Church   Resource Persons:   Asin Shurhozelie: Voice and Performance Louise Shishak: Violin   Mhathung Odyuo: Cello and wind instruments Noel De la Rosa: Piano and choir conducting Highlights: i)     Workshops & Master class ii)    Interactions with the resource persons (Open for all with a nominal registration of Rs.200/- only per individual)   Friendship Concert featuring prominent choral groups in Nagaland Choral Competitions (Mixed Choir and Children’s Choir) Individual (choir) Competition (Friendship concert and the Choral competitions will be held in the evenings on October 15 and 16 respectively.
