Nagaland CM calls on Rajnath in Delhi
Nagaland Chief Minister, Neiphiu Rio, his cabinet colleagues and Nagaland MP Tokheho Yepthomi with Union Home Minister, Rajnath Singh in New Delhi on June 12.

 

DIMAPUR, JUNE 12 (MExN): Nagaland State Chief Minister, Neiphiu Rio along with his cabinet colleagues met the Union Home Minister, Rajnath Singh at his North Block Office, New Delhi.

 

A press note from the PRO, Nagaland House, New Delhi informed that during the meeting, the Nagaland CM discussed issues pertaining to Helicopter services in Nagaland, release of disaster management fund, modernization of administration on the line of police modernization in the state, and early settlement of Naga Political issues.

 

He also reportedly emphasised on the need for extra attention to develop the ENPO region.

 

The CM was accompanied by Y Patton, Dy. Chief Minister; S Pangnyu Phom, Minister for Health & Family Welfare; Imnatiba, Advisor, Industries & Commerce; Kazheto Kinimi, Advisor, Skill Development, Labour and Employment and CAWD; Dr. Longriniken, Advisor Law and Justice, Border Affairs and Treasuries & Accounts; BJP State President, Visasolie Lhoungu; General Secretary NPP, Sasank Ghatraj and newly elected Member of Parliament to the Lok Sabha, Tokheho Yepthomi.

 

Minister S.Pangnyu Phom also supported the need for special attention for ENPO as stated by the Prime Minister of India during his visit to the state. The Deputy CM, Y Patton meanwhile mentioned that the law and order situation and state government functionaries are doing well. He also appealed for more financial assistance from the centre.

 

The Chief Minister and his cabinet colleagues also introduced the newly elected Member of Parliament to the Lok Sabha, Tokheho Yepthomi.

 

The Union Home Minister on his part meanwhile assured the maximum co-operation to the state by the centre for all round development.
