DIMAPUR, DECEMBER 29 (MExN): The Nagaland Garo Tribal Council (NGTC) has strongly condemned the kidnapping of one Lalneineiw, S/o Neithanglen Saiph, VDB Secretary of Khelma Village, Athibung Sub-division of Peren district on November 25, 2017 by unknown miscreants and the ransom demand of Rs 15 Lakhs. A condemnation note from the union expressed shock over the kidnapping and termed it as “barbaric and devilish act which has no place in our civilized society.” It stated that the act has not only stolen away the peace and happiness of the family but also created fear psychosis within the public of that area. In this connection, the union has appealed the kidnappers for the unconditional release of the boy at the earliest in true Christian spirit.
