Nagaland gets new Ashok Leyland outlet

Dimapur, January 10 (MExN): Ashok Leyland, flagship of the Hinduja Group and the second largest commercial vehicle manufacturer in India, inaugurated a new outlet in Dimapur today. It is a sales, service, and spare parts 4-bay facility spread over 30,000 sq ft.  

The outlet Lerinah Motors is run by Pukreni Lerinah, who is a first generation entrepreneur in Dimapur. The facility, strategically located at 7th Mile on Asian Highway 1, will cater to all the vehicles of Dimapur, Kohima, and other floating population. The state-of-the-art workshop, built to customer satisfaction, is equipped with all modern tools and equipment, stated a press release received here.  

Speaking on the occasion, R Nagarajan, Vice President-Global Service, Ashok Leyland Limited said, “Nagaland is a very important market for us and we are very pleased to inaugurate this facility in the state. With this new outlet, we look forward to increase our market share in the North East region from the existing 21%. The major drivers of economy in the region are road construction, agriculture, tourism, and trading. We are confident that this new outlet will further strengthen our strategic presence in Nagaland.”
