Nagaland govt employees informed on PIMS data-base

Kohima, May 17 (MExN): The P&AR Department (PIMS Cell) has in a memorandum informed that Government of Nagaland has envisioned implementing e-governance in the State with a view to enhance transparency and efficiency, minimize errors and provide quality and speedy services to its employees.

The Personal Information Management System (PIMS) is helping the State Government in getting instant access and accurate information of State Government employees. It is a comprehensive web-enabled personnel management system for the State Government to address the administrative requirement for managing its employees, right from the date of their joining into service till they retire.

In order to promote e-governance initiative and to provide transparency of the employee's profile, the State Government has decided to make basic PIMS data public. Further, State Government employees will be able to access their own personal data from the website of PIMS, P&AR Department by logging in at www.pimsnaqaland.in.

Individual login id and password can be obtained from their concerned controlling Administrative Heads of Departments.

Further, if any discrepancy arises, the same can be brought to the notice of the authority concerned for further necessary action.
