Nagaland joins India’s strongest man/woman meet 2020

Khriezo Suokhrie with the competing squad members from Nagaland representing the state at the upcoming India’s Strongest Man/Woman 2020 at Dehradun, Uttarakhand.

 

Kohima, January 25 (MExN):  A squad of four men from Nagaland will be representing the state at the upcoming two days meet of India’s Strongest Man/Woman 2020, starting from January 25 at Dehradun, Uttarakhand.


Team manager Khriezo Suokhrie stated that they will be competing in four weight categories.


Suokhrie informed that the squad, under the banner “Oriental Fitness,” is sponsored by De Oriental Grand, NK Square Pvt. Ltd., Big Life Events, Khriehu Liezietsu, N. Lanu, Pele Khiezhie, and Starlake Hostel.


The team members include Tsuknungakum Jamir (105 Kg class), Vizobeilie Punyü (80 Kg class), Kevilelie Pienyü (90 Kg class) and Sedevizo Keretsü (105 Kg class).


Suokhrie said that the four have earlier competed in various fitness and strength events like North-East Strongest Man, Hornbill International Fittest man, Hornbill International Strongest man, National Power Lifting, All Nagaland Fitness and Strength War, National Mas-Wrestling and Northern Angami Wrestling, achieving top positions.
