Nagaland launches online GPF information system

Kohima, July 31 (DIPR): Online GPF information system for Nagaland State government employees was launched by Chief Secretary, Pankaj Kumar at the Annexe Building Hall, Office of the Principal Accountant General (A&E) here on July 31.  

The Chief Secretary highlighted the online payment systems developed in recent times like electricity billing in some districts, NPSC online application, online scholarship application and others.  

He said the online GPF system will help the State employees to quickly access their account and for AG employees it will be much easier to efficiently and easily monitor the system in a better way.  

The Office of Principal AG (A&E) launched the system in partnership with NIC, Nagaland NIC and Manipur NIC for the registered GPF subscribers of Grade C and above employees of the State Government.   In order to access the online GPF system for GPF status, a subscriber has to select the GPF series name and enter the GPF Account Number, his/her PIN in the relevant boxes provided. SMS alerts regarding the details of credits and debits can also be availed.

DG, NIC New Delhi, Neeta Verma also spoke through video conference. Principal AG (A&E), E. Mhonbemo Patton, IA&AS said the welcome address, Additional SIO, Kemvu gave a PowerPoint presentation on the online GPF system during the programme, which was chaired by Deputy AG (A&E), Kahoto J. Yepthomi, IA&AS.
