1st phase training begins at Dimapur, 2nd phase today

Dimapur, March 22 (MExN): The first phase training for polling personnel for the ensuing Lok Sabha election for Dimapur district got underway at Government College Dimapur on March 22. According to DIPR report, DC & DEO Dimapur Kevekha Kevin Zehol appealed all the presiding and 1st polling officers to take their responsibility seriously as they are going to facilitate every eligible voter to exercise their franchise as enshrined in the constitution. While reminding the trainees not to litter the college campus during the training period, DC thanked the Principal for allowing the college premises for the training. Training of 2nd and 3rd Polling Officers will be conducted today.


1st phase training underway at Kohima, 2nd phase today

Kohima, March 22 (MExN): The 1st round of training for Presiding Officer and 1st Polling Officer for the conduct of elections began at Kohima College, Kohima on March 22. Master Trainers for election process imparted training on the roles and responsibilities of the Presiding Officer and 1st Polling Officer to be executed during the polling process. The 1st round of training for the 2nd and 3rd Polling Officers will be held today at the same venue from 10:30 am.


ADC & ARO Zbto informs

Zunheboto, March 22 (MExN): ADC & ARO Zunheboto, Ajit Kumar Ranjan IAS, in a circular informed all Polling and Security Personnel drafted for election duty that issue of application form for Election Duty Certificate (Form 12A) will be made from the EDC Cell in the Office of the DC & District Election Officer, Zunheboto. Duly filled Form 12A may be submitted in the aforementioned EDC Cell along with a copy of election duty order and a photocopy of EPIC.


DC Peren informs employees to remain in station

Peren, March 22 (MExN): In view of the upcoming general elections DC Peren, Sarita Yadav IAS has directed all the Head of Offices under Peren District to strictly ensure that all the employees under their establishment remain in station till the completion of conduct of election. DC & DEO informed that any non compliance of this order shall invite stringent disciplinary actions under relevant provisions of the representation of the Act, 1951, stated a DIPR report.


DC & DEO Kiphire informs

Kiphire, March 22 (MExN): DC & DEO Kiphire in a circular informed that in pursuance of the conduct of elections and in order to ensure that all voters on Election duty are extended the opportunity to exercise their franchise, Election duty certificate is being issued. Issuance and submission of form 12A: voters from other district – March 21 to 30, voters from Kiphire district – April 21 to 5, issue of EDC – April 6 and 7.


DEO & ARO, DC & DEO Mokokchung informs

Mokokchung, March 22 (MExN): In view of the forthcoming elections, DEO & ARO Mokokchung, Rajesh Soundarajan IAS has directed all the officers and staff of all the departments under Mokokchung district to remain in station/place of posting. Outstation leave on Medical/Official grounds, if any shall be availed only after getting due approval of the undersigned. It further stated that any deviation from the above directive shall be viewed seriously. DC & DEO Mokokchung also informed all the personnel drafted for various election duties for the conduct of forthcoming elections that Form 12 (Application for Postal Ballot) and Form 12 A (Application for Election Duty Certificate) will be issued from March 22 from the Postal Ballot/EDC Cell at DC & DEO office, Mokokchung and also at the Training Venue of polling Personnel. Personnel on election duty in Mokokchung district who are registered as voters in other districts can also apply for EDC (Election Duty Certificate) in Form 12 A. all Forms for EDC and Postal Ballot will be received up to 12:00 pm April 1. Election Duty Certificate (EDC) will be issued to all personnel drafted for election duties. However, drafted Personnel from 26 Aonglenden AC will be issued both Postal Ballot and EDC to cast their vote.


DC & DEO Mon to issue application for election duty

Mon, March 21 (MExN): Thavaseelan K, IAS Deputy Commissioner & District Election Officer Mon has informed all the Polling Duty Officials/Personnel requisitioned for election duty under Mon District that, Form 12A (Application for Election Duty Certificate) will be issued from March 22. According to DPRO, Mon, applicants can collect the same from EDC Cell, 1st floor, DC Office Mon. Last date of submission of Form 12A will be April 5. However, for those who are registered as voters in other districts, last date of submission of Form 12A will be March 31. Election Duty certificates (Form 12B) once ready will be issued from April 6. Applicants can collect the same from EDC Cell, 1st floor DC Office Mon.
