Traditional healers' health camp 

Dimapur, August 17 (MExN): In exercise and as promotional activities of Quality Council of India (QCI) New Delhi. Traditional Community Healthcare Provider (TCHP) Certification and evaluators Programme,  the North East Christian University (NECU) an empanelled body of QCI is organizing a one day Traditional Health Camp on August 22 at NECU campus, Anchor Building, Burma Camp Dimapur.  A press release issued by the Coordinator, PrCB NECU stated that certified traditional healers from all the North East States will avail traditional health care service in the following domains: Common ailments; Jaundice; Arthritis; Bone setting and Poisonous bites.  It further encouraged interested people needing traditional healers' treatment on mentioned domains to avail the service. Distribution of seed money to SHGs in Kiphire

Kiphire, August 17 (MExN): Distribution of seed money to SHGS was held at DC Conference Hall, Kiphire on August 17. Altogether five SHGs namely Nuture Self Help Group, Kishekiphe group, Trocheh Milong group, Santsah Weaving group and Limreih Self Help Group received the seed money from National Urban Livelihood Mission (NULM) Initiated by Resource organisation, Greenland society, Kiphire. A DIPR report stated that ADC Kiphire, Reny Wilfred in his short speech encouraged all the beneficiaries to utilise their money properly for the society as well as to benefit in the days to come. He also thanked the organisation for initiating such programme and urged them to work with enthusiasm for the betterment of the society and also for the Kiphire district.

 

Food & Civil Supplies informs

Dimapur, August 17 (MExN): As declared by the Chief Minister of Nagaland in the Independence Day Speech on distribution of Pulses (Masoor Dal) for the first time in the State, the Department of Food & Civil Supplies has informed all concerned that the Government of India, Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Department of Food & Public Distribution had released pulses (Masoor dal) to the State as Onetime Allocation to be distributed to the Identified Ration card holders of PHH & AAY w.e.f. July 2019 (covering three months period) at a subsidized rate of Rs. 45.50p per Kg. The detail information on distribution of the same can be obtained from the respective district ADS.
