DDADU informs on abandoned Autorickshaw

Dimapur, December 4 (MExN): The Dimapur District Autorickshaw Drivers Union (DDADU) has found an Autorickshaw abandoned near Naharbari area with registration number NL07/F7651, Dimapur Nagaland. DMC informs shopkeepers, residents of Lengrijan

Dimapur, December 4 (MExN): In view of the forthcoming festive season, Administrator Dimapur Municipal Council (DMC) Albert Ezung have requested all the shopkeepers/commercial building owners under DMC jurisdiction to make necessary white wash along with paintings of shutters/doors preferably with Blue color and also to decorate and illuminate their respective shop/buildings by putting colorful electric bulbs of low energy consumption. Meanwhile, all the shops/business establishment other than workshops and Industries are asked to keep their respective shops open on all Sundays with effect from December 1 till January 1. The Administrator futher notified all the residents/households of Lengrijan and other colonies adjoining the Lengri river not to connect directly any septic tank pipe either in the river or in the drain which is strictly banned/ prohibited. Notifying that the order shall come into force with immediate effect, Ezung said anyone violating the order shall be penalized as per provisions of law.

 

Adolescent Fest 2019

Dimapur, December 4 (MExN): Adolescent Fest, an initiative of CAN YOUTH will be held on December 9 & 10 at DDSC Stadium, Dimapur under the theme “I am the Now.” A press release from the organizers stated the festival will consist of activities such as painting and singing competition, dance competition, penalty shootout, tug of war, best slogan competition and Mr & Ms Adolescent. The fest’s objective is to create a safe space for the adolescents to explore their talents and develop their level of participation, it said. DNSU 2nd Union Assembly 

Dimapur, December 4 (MExN): The Dimapur Naga Students’ Union (DNSU) has informed that its 2nd Union Assembly is scheduled to be held on December 7, 10:00 am at Tourist Lodge, Dimapur. DNSU in a press release has requested all the constituent unit presidents, general secretary, representatives, tribunals and senior leaders of DNSU to attend the Assembly positively. Meanwhile, the constituent units are asked to submit the Agendas if any, to the Assembly Affairs, DNSU on the day of the Assembly.

 

Mkg DPDB meet

Mokokchung, December 4 (MExN): Deputy commissioner & Vice –Chairman DPDB Mokokchung has informed all the members of DPDB that the scheduled meeting of the District Planning & Development Board (DPDB) Mokokchung for the month of December 2019 cum-Pre-Christmas programme will be held on December 6 at Milak River (Tuli). All the 10 (ten) elected legislatures of Mokokchung District will be attending the meeting. All the DPDB members have been directed to attend the meeting without fail.
