Payment of old age pension at Mkg from Feb 25
Mokokchung, February 17 (DIPR): District Welfare Officer, (DWO) Mokokchung, Bendangkokba has informed all pensioners drawing Indira Gandhi national Old Age, widow, disabled, blind and disable scholarship that payment will be made from February 25 to April 8 at District Welfare Office, Mokokchung. DWO said payment will be made as per range/ village/ ward wise starting from Mokokchung Town followed by Ongpangkong, Asetkong, Langpangkong, Changklikong, Japukong and Tsurangkong. Beneficiaries have been informed to produce life certificate obtained from respective Village Council Chairman and Church and those who have not submitted Aadhaar number during mass collection are to submit the same during payment.
Art and Culture invites applicants
Kohima, February 17 (MExN): The Department of Art and Culture has invited all young and deserving artists to submit applications for recognition in folk music/song, classical music, folk dance, theatre and creative art - painting, composition and handicraft. A press note issued by Vevo Sapuh, Director, Art and Culture has informed that the artist to be recognized with the award should be in the age group of 18-30 years. The candidates may submit their applications before February 20 at the Directorate of Art and Culture. They may also contact the Directorate for any information.
NCSU head office members to visit dist units
Kohima, February 17 (MExN): The Nagaland Contractors’ & Suppliers’ Union (NCSU) head office, Kohima has informed all the NCSU district units that the head office bearers are planning to visit all the district unit offices from third week of February to March 2016. Hence, all the respective district units have been asked to make necessary arrangement during the officials’ visit. The detailed programme will be intimated by the head office, a press release from NCSU head office informed. All the NCSU district unit officials, executive members, senior members are to be positively present during the visit, the release added.
