CHSS Homecoming Fete 2016 Dimapur, February 24 (MExN): All CHSS Alumni are requested to avail of the tickets for the 1st Homecoming Fete 2016 on 12 March at the School Campus. The Musical night features well-known alums like Nise Meruno, Moanungsang, Jack Pucho and former Headmaster Meken Sangma and his band. The outlets for the tickets are- CHSS Campus, Beehive Bakery (Near Holy Cross), Beehive Bakery (Nagarjan Point), Ashish Electronics (Stranger) Nyamo Lotha, Sunny Shoes Store and Regent Shoes Store (MP Road), Hot Pot Restaurant (Eros Lane), Pencil Work Graphics (City Tower Area), The Soloist Work Station ( Duncan).  

BPFKT celebrates Silver jubilee Kiphire, February 24 (MExN): The Baptist Pastors’ Fellowship Kiphire Town (BPFKT) celebrated its Silver jubilee on February 6 and 7 under the theme “Believers are one in Christ” (Acts 4 :32) with Rev. G Kiyeto, Vice President Nagaland Baptist Pastors’ Union (NBPU) and Rev. C Lima, Executive Secretary USBLA as main speakers.  On the day one Rev Khumtsa, Pastor Ghokhuvi Baptist Church and first Fellowship secretary, BPFKT dedicated and release the Jubilee Souvenir while Rev C Lima ES, USBLA delivered a message on the topic “Serve for His purpose” on the second day, Silver Jubilee Stone tablet erected at BPFKT New Millennium Hall, Delux Point Kiphire Town was dedicated by Rev. G Kiyeto V/President NBPU in the presence of Church Elders and believers and shared the word of God on the topic “Believers are one in Christ”.  Meanwhile, BPFKT acknowledge Chumremo Odyuo, Deputy Commissioner, Kiphire and family for extending all the support, BYE KTBL for leading praise & worship throughout the programme.   Mkg DPDB meeting cum picnic Mokokchung, February 24 (DIPR): Mokokchung District Planning & Development Board (DPDB) meeting cum picnic will be held at State Agricultural Research Station (SARS), Yisemyong on March 7, about 16 kms from Mokokchung town. This was decided at the meeting called by DC & Vice Chairman, DPDB Mokokchung, Sushil Patel in his office chamber on February 24. DC informed all the Heads of Offices to also call their subordinate officers for the meeting cum picnic. It was decided that all the expenses of the meeting cum picnic will be borne by Officers Club Mokokchung (OCM) for which DC approved withdrawal of Rs. 50,000 from the OCM. After discussions the meeting also decided to enhance annual membership of OCM from Rs. 500/- to Rs. 1000/-   Peace Prayer prog at Kiphire held Kiphire, February 24 (MExN): In order to restore peace in the Town and the District, the Baptist Pastor’s Fellowship Kiphire Town (BPFKT) had organized Peace Prayer programme at Deluxe Point Kiphire Town on February 22, starting from 6:30 am. Various Church Leaders, believers, GBs, DBs, NGOs and Citizen attended the programme.  The programme was chaired by S Mughaho Pastor, President BPFKT, while a special song was presented by Police Baptist Church.  Peace Message was delivered by Rev. Imdangmeren Ao, Pastor Ao Baptist Church, Kiphire. He pointed out that real peace comes through forgiveness and through which it heals the wounded in the community and the World. Mass Prayer was observed at the end of the programme.
