Jalukie electrical sub-division informs Kohima, May 21 (MExN): The office of the Sub-Divisional Officer, Jalukie Electrical Sub Division has informed that due to technical failure of the 0.5 MVA, 33/11 KV Power Transformer installed at Ngwalwa village on May 20 around 5:30 pm, the power supply to Heningkungla, Ngwalwa and its adjoining areas will be disrupted till replacement of the power transformer. Er Yanpamo Odyuo, Sub-Divisional Officer (E), Jalukie Electrical Sub Division has requested the public to bear with the inconvenience caused.  

IMLF seized; one arrested Dimapur, May 21 (MExN): The staff of West Police Station recovered 349 cases of IMFL from a car and arrested one person in this connection, a Dimapur Police official informed. The Addl. Dy. Commissioner of Police/PRO in a press note said that the police team and personnel of New Field check-gate recovered the same while conducting routine frisking at New Field area. The driver, identified as one Pradip Sinha (26) was arrested and the IMFL was seized along with the vehicle, the police said. NSCN (R) expels one Dimapur, May 21 (MExN): The NSCN (Reformation) has expelled one cadre identified as Vihoto, Raja Peyu of Sumi Region V.K. area from the national service with immediate effect for “misuse of power”. The Chairman of NSCN (R) Sumi Region, LG Sumi stated  that a  complaint against Vihoto  was  lodged  by the  V.K. Peoples Organization for his misuse of  government’s power which is against the national Yehzabo, according to  a press release from Secretary, MIP, NSCN (R). The Sumi Region NSCN (R) has requested all the Nagas to cooperate with the government, the release said. The government of the NSCN (R) further reiterated that its government is “neither against anyone nor at the behest of anyone, but firmly working and stands for the welfare of the Naga people.” NNC advises NPGs not to use ‘His Excellency’   Dimapur, May 21 (MExN): The Naga National Council (NNC) has advised all the Naga Political Groups that address their groups' President "His Excellency" not to address like that again because “this is something shameful and not fit to use such a high or highest political title at this stage of transition of Naga struggle for freedom of recognition.” A press release from Information & Publicity Wing, NNC pointed out that even the largest democracy in the world, India, does not use the highest political title for its President. “Therefore, those leaders in the homeland must learn this fact and stop using this title in future,” it added.
