TBHJ 10th Academic Session today Kohima, June 10 (MExN): Chief Engineer, Police Engineering Project, Nagaland Er. Swedevil Zao will grace the Tyrannus Boys Hostel Jakhama (TBHJ) 10th Academic Session launching programme as chief guest. He will also launch ‘Citizen Rights Awareness Campaign’ with a team of 45 LL.B Final Year students to be led by Professor-in-Charged Kezhokhoto Savi of Kohima Law College in the hostel(TBHJ) premises on June 11 at 2:00 pm. The Asst. CR of LL.B VIth semester Kohima Law College Ms. Toshitula Jamir informed all the students to be assembled at Kohima Law College compound by 11.45 am so as to avail transportation to Tyrannus Boys Hostel Jakhama.  

CVC to repair Mokokchung to Mariani road Mokokchung, June 10 (DIPR): The Changki Village Council (CVC) along with the citizens of Changki Village will be repairing the 30 km stretch Mokokchung to Mariani road under Changki area on June 13 and 14. It has been informed that on the given date, vehicles will be allowed to ply but commuters are requested to bear any inconveniences during the repair date. In this regard, the Sub Divisional Administration will also depute staff to monitor during the work. ADC, Mangkolemba T. Imtiwapang Aier further requested all the concern to co-operate during the given date in the above mentioned route.     Free ARV vaccination cum livestock & poultry vaccination at Lizu (Old) Zunheboto, June 10 (MExN): The Department of Veterinary and AH Zunheboto in a press note informed that a free anti rabies vaccination camp cum vaccination of all the livestock and poultry would be conducted for Lizu (old) village on June 14 from 8:00 am onward with team leader, Dr. Bocto VAS Vety Hospital Zunheboto and his team. Therefore, GBs and Village Council have been requested to render all possible cooperation to the team. Further, Dr. Toshi Aier CVO, Zunheboto in a press release also informed that despite the director's office liberal/enough vaccines being issued, due to man power and other difficult reasons the office would be conducting such programmes only at phase manner to reach out other remote villages/sub division hq with the facility. It was also informed that on May 9 a total of 126 dogs were immunized against rabies in Zunheboto.   NRMSATA office bearers elected Kohima, June 10 (MExN): The Nagaland RMSA Teachers’ Association 2015-16 (NRMSATA) held a combined district convenors meeting at NSF Conference Hall, Kohima on June 10. In the meeting, the new office bearers were elected with Renbemo. L. Patton-President, Benkiya Apon-Vice-President, Kezhothito Keyho-General Secretary, Vinoto Achumi-Assistant General Secretary, Vizayieno Zashümo-Treasurer, Medongunuo Solo- Information & Public Secretary. A press release from the newly elected members urged its members to continuously extend their support and co-operation. The forum further stated that RMSA 2015-16 has been tirelessly discharging their duties for the last four months without salaries. Therefore, the forum appealed the Education Department to disperse the pending four months salaries as early as possible.   P&AR notifies Kohima, June 10 (DIPR): The Department of Personnel & Administrative Reforms in pursuance to the Chief Electoral Officer’s letter wherein, all the state Government Departments including the Central Government Departments are instructed to open SVEEP Cell to disseminate electoral awareness messages and the action plans to secure ethical and informed voting practices under the charge of one Nodal Officer and one Assistant as per the formal and submit to the CEO, Nagaland.   PYF 20th general session concludes Peren, June 10 (MExN): The 20th General Session of Peren Youth Federation (PYF) was held on June 4 at Kejanglwa village hosted by Village Council of Kejanglwa Village. A new team of office bearers were elected for the tenure of three years 2016-2018 headed by president Tingba Hegui; General Secretary Kiezeuh Sephe; Finance Secretary Er. Tsiamchi Ndang; Treasurer Isapleung Hega; Press Secretary Heigum Herie. PYF Press Secretary Heigum Herie in a press release informed that Peren Youth Federation is the apex body of the entire Peren people. President of all the federating unit are inducted as the Vice Presidents of the Peren Youth Federation. A dedicatory prayer was conducted for the newly elected office bearers by the Pastor Paulambe Kejanglwa Baptist Church.   Reality shows and talent hunts organizers informed Dimapur, June 10 (MExN): The Dimapur DC office has notified that certain organisations and agencies are organising reality shows and talent hunts etc without following appropriate measures to safeguard the welfare of the participating candidates. “Such self-interested profit-oriented organisations are done at the cost of the participants depriving them of a fair play,” DC Kesonyu Yhome, IAS said in a press release. Public are informed that any agency or organisation planning to organise such shows and programme should take prior permission of the district administration. “Failure to obtain such permission shall attract befitting penalty,” the DC added.   School Education informs Kohima, June 10 (MExN): The Department of School Education has informed all the candidates recommended by NPSC for the posts of Post Graduate Teachers vide NO.NPSC/C-12/2010 dated 29.04. 2016 to collect the offering letter, identity certificate and antecedent form from the office the undersigned from June 13 onward. This was informed in a press release issued by F.P Solo, Commissioner Secy to Government of Nagaland.
