500 cases of assorted IMFL/beer sized
Dimapur, February 15 (MExN): The MVCP duty party of the 29th Assam Rifles recovered 500 cases of assorted IMFL/beer hidden under animal feed at Purana Bazaar, NH-29 Dimapur on February 14 from a Tata Truck bearing registration no AS-01 EC 5416. In this regard, two accused persons namely Mukum Hajwari (22 years) and Padam Sharma (38 yaers) were arrested and handed over to the Excise department. A case has been registered under the NLTP Act 1989 and further investigation is on. This was stated in a press release issued by KY Sangtam, Superintendent of Excise and Prohibition, Dimapur.
