NPF Wohka on NTTU statement

WOKHA, FEBRUARY 24 (MExN): The Naga Peoples’ Front (NPF) Wokha Division has expressed concern on statement by the Nagaland Timber Traders Union (NTTU), wherein, it demanded the “removal/replacement of the Minister of Forest" accusing him and the Dimapur DFO of malpractise. A press note from the NPF Wokha Division made it clear that “we are neither in favour nor against any party/union or department.” However it felt that the “matters could be solved through mutual dialogue and understanding instead of pointing fingers at each other through the press media which will only make matters worse.”

NCSU meeting on Feb 26

KOHIMA, FEBRUARY 24 (MExN): The Nagaland Contractors and Suppliers Union has convened an emergency meeting (matter relating to payment and other issues) on February 26 at 11 AM at the union conference hall in Kohima. A press note from the NCSU informed all union head office advisors, executive members, action committees, presidents and general secretaries of district units to attend the meeting positively.

Seminar for MSMEs in Mkg

Mokokchung, February 24 (MExN): Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME), Government of India will be organizing a three-day National Level Vendor Development Programme for Micro, Small and Medium enterprises in Mokokchung beginning February 25, in collaboration with the Mokokchung Chamber of Commerce and Industries. Mokokchung Deputy Commissioner, Murohu Chotso will be the chief guest for the event to be held at Multi-Purpose Hall, Imkongmeren Sports Complex, Mokokchung from 10:30 am onwards.

Dimapur VCs, GBs informed

DIMAPUR, FEBRUARY 24 (MExN): The Office of the Superintendent of Food and Civil Supplies, Dimapur has informed all village council chairmen and head GBs of all villages under Dimapur district that there will be a consultative meeting on February 27 at Dimapur Town Hall from 10 AM onwards. It informed that the meeting will be held with regard to implementation of the Nationa Food Security Act 2013 and requested all concerned to attend positively.

RSU, RWSK clarify

DIMAPUR, FEBRUARY 24 (MExN): With reference to the news published in local dailies on February 21 with the caption ‘Two Widows with 100 Kgs of Ganja’, the Razeba Students’ Union and Razeba Women Society Kohima have clarified “that there is no such name Ale wife of late Nasu of Razeba village who was allegedly involved in the case as published in the local dailies.” RSU and Razeba Women Society Kohima strongly condemned “such false citizen who damages the good image of Razeba village” and request the concerned authority to thoroughly verify the person’s citizenship and punish her as deemed fit. RSU and Razeba Women Society Kohima also ask the person concerned to tender an unconditional apology to the two organizations at the earliest failing which the organizations would initiate stern action against her.
