ATMA Kohima conducts farmers’ sales day

Kohima, May 21 (DIPR):
ATMA Chiephobozou conducted Kisan Goshti (farmers’ sales day) at Government High School junction, Kohima on May 17. Twenty five farmers from Tsiesema village attended the sales day where varieties of their produce comprising vegetables, fruits, manures, rice and processed food products were showcased and sold out successfully. The Goshti was assisted by Mvudzuviu Shüya, BTM, ATMA and Keneisetuo Khro, ATM, ATMA.

BAN concerned over threat & assault in Phek Town

Phek, May 21 (MExN):
Business Association of Nagas (BAN) has expressed serious concern over the assault and threat meted out to the business community of Phek Town. “In fact the business community in Nagaland has been at receiving end of anti social activities for far too long,” stated Mar Longkumer of BAN in a statement. “BAN condemns such barbarity in the highest terms possible.” BAN further demanded that the administration and the police leave no stone unturned to serve justice to the business community and ensure that such incidents do not happen again.

St. Mary’s Church Punanamei invites

Dimapur, May 21 (MExN):
The Catholic Community of St. Mary’s Church Punanamei invites all the Catholic members of Punanamei who reside outside the village for the blessing of the renovated Church by His Grace Rt. Rev. Dominic Lumon DD, Archbishop of Imphal, on May 24, Saturday at 9.30 am. This will be followed by the felicitation, informed a press release issued by St. Mary’s Church Punanamei.

DMC directs open vendors to shift

Dimapur, May 21 (MExN):
In order to avoid traffic congestion as well as movement of public pedestrian in between the Dhobinalla traffic point to Holy Cross traffic point, all the open vendors are directed to shift their business at Zeliangrong Village Dhobinalla area from May 21. DMC administrator K tarep Imchen in a press release informed that necessary action would be initiated against the defaulting vendor who fails to comply with this order.

SBC convention on June 12

Written exam for sec teachers under RMSA

Dimapur, May 21 (MExN):
The District Education Officer Dimapur Nungshila Sohe has informed all the intending candidates that the written examination for the post of Secondary Teacher under RMSA Dimapur district will be held on May 24, 10: 00 Am to 11:30 AM at Government Higher Secondary School, Dimapur, Half Nagarjan. Further, candidates are informed to reach the exam venue by 9:30 AM.
