CCWCF holds seminar 

Kohima, August 3 (MExN): The Chakhesang Churches Women Combined Fellowship (CCWCF) conducted a one day seminar at Chakhesang Baptist Church, Minister’s Hill Kohima on July 27. The resource persons, Neikhwepeü Khalo, District Public Relation Officer (Rtd) emphasized on human, rather than material development and the need for ethnic identity. Khriehuzo Lohe, Chairperson, CWC, enlightened the participants on ‘Child right awareness.’ He also said that every child has equal rights and that for any grievances one can call the child helpline – 1098. Neikoloü Mero encouraged the participants to promote daily exercise, eat healthy organic food encourage local entrepreneurship. CCWCF General Secretary Adule Medo in a press release informed that a total of 302 women from different churches registered for the seminar.

 

Consultative meeting of JLF preponed to August 7

Kohima, August 3 (MExN): Secretary, Nagaland Legislative Assembly, K. Sekhose has informed that the Speaker, NLA and Convenor, Joint Legislators' Forum on Naga Political Issue, Vikho-o Yhoshu has preponed the consultative meeting of Joint Legislators' Forum with all the Members of the 13th Nagaland Legislative Assembly and the Members of Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha to August 7 at 3:30 PM in the Conference Hall of Assembly Secretariat. Thereafter, a meeting will be held for formation of the Parliamentarians & Ex- Parliamentarians Association, Nagaland. Therefore, all Members of the 13th Nagaland Legislative Assembly and the Members of Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha have been kindly requested to attend the meeting positively. The Ex-Parliamentarian Members of the Drafting Committee to represent the Ex-Parliamentarians are also requested to attend the meeting.

 

Mini youth rally on August 8

Kohima, August 3 (MExN): The Central Youth Wing of Naga People's Front (NPF) is organizing Mini Youth Rally on August 8 at 11:00 AM in the Conference Hall of NPF HQs, Kohima. MLA Kuzholuzo (Azo) Nienu will be the special guest. Host of party functionaries will also address the rally. All the divisions youth wing presidents and general secretary from Nagaland and Manipur state have been requested to attend the same without fail. The Central Youth Wing also extended invitation to all NPF leaders and well wishers to the rally. This was stated in a release issued by NPF Central Youth Wing president N. Vihoshe Swu.

 

Pughoboto mass social work on August 9

Pughoboto, August 3 (MExN): ADC Pughoboto, Phuleshe K. Yepthomi in a circular informed that there will be a mass social work at Pughoboto Town on August 9 from 6:30 am onwards. All the residents of Pughoboto Town have been requested to participate in the Social work without fail. GBs are asked to ensure that every household in their respective wards participate in the social work without fail. The Sub-Divisional Departments officials have been directed to clean their respective office premises. Youth bodies – PPKK, Pughoboto Town Youth Organisation; Youth of NCRC & Pughoboto Town Baptist Church have been asked to take active participation. Youth bodies have been asked to clean all the thick weeds around the tree plantation in the town area starting from Pughoboto welcome gate. Adhoc-Town Council along with the youth bodies is to ensure the disposal of all the garbage of the social work. All shopkeepers will also clean their respective shop areas.  Shops will remain closed till 9:00 am.
