Dimapur Empowered Group meeting on May 11

Dimapur, May 9 (MExN): The Secretary, F&CS and Member, Empowered Group for COVID-19, Dimapur, W Honje Konyak, informed that a meeting will be held to discuss various issues relating to people returning to state post lockdown at Commissioner's rest house, Bank Colony, Dimapur on May 11 from 11:00 am. Therefore, the District Education Officer, Dimapur, three members from All Nagaland Private College Association, three members from All Nagaland Private School Association and two members from Accommodation Community have been requested to attend the meeting positively.

 

Movement of individuals
restricted in Mokokchung

Mokokchung, May 9 (MExN): The Deputy Commissioner of Mokokchung, Limawabang Jamir has issued an order prohibiting the movement of individuals for all non-essential activities from 5:00 pm to 6:00am in Mokokchung District till May 17. “Since it is not possible to serve prior notice of this order, it is as such being issued ex-parte. Any violation of this order shall invite punitive action,” the DC Mokokchung stated in an order issued on May 9. 

 

Zbto DC informs migrant labourers 

Zunheboto, May 9 (MExN): The office of the Deputy Commissioner sent out a notification to all stranded migrant labourers in the district to compulsorily register their names and submit relevant document at the Deputy Commissioner’s office, Zunheboto latest by May 15. A facilitation centre for the purpose is set up at the office chamber of EAC (Sadar), Deputy Commissioner’s office Zunheboto.  For any queries, Migrant labourers may contact @7005574010.

 

DAABPF calls for mass prayer on COVID-19 

Dimapur, May 9 (MExN): The Dimapur Area Ao Baptist Pastor Fellowship (DAABPF) has called for a mass prayer on COVID-19. The DAABPF said on May 11 (Monday) at 7:00 pm, the Church bell in all the Ao Baptist churches in Dimapur and surrounding localities will toll for three minutes, and during which members of the Churches are requested to come out of their houses. When the ringing of the bell gets over, the members are requested to have a mass prayer outside their respective homes.  DAABPF President, N Lipok Jamir and Secretary L Panger Jamir has requested all to include the following in the prayer: “Give thanks to the Lord for keeping Nagaland safe thus far from Covid-19; Pray for continued protection; Pray that the peace and solace of God be upon the families and relatives of those who have died and that God's comfort dwell in them to endure the bitter pain of death; Pray for God protection and strength upon the frontline workers who are combating against COVID-19; Pray that the spirit of truth be upon our leaders in order that the funds received from the Centre be utilized judiciously.”
