Commissioner of taxes informs

KOHIMA, JUNE 12 (MExN): The Commissioner of State Taxes, Nagaland has extended the time limit for furnishing the return by an Input Service Distributor in FORM GSTR- 6 under sub-section (4) of section 39 of the said Act read with rule 65 of the Nagaland Goods and Services Tax Rules, 2017, for the months of July, 2017 to June, 2018, till the July 31, 2018.

 

Ganja seized from vehicle in Kohima

KOHIMA, JUNE 12 (MExN): Kohima Police manning Peducha Check Gate recovered and seized 195 kgs of contraband Ganja neatly packed in 26 polythene bags from a Maruti Esteem bearing Registration No. WB 02W 1117 during the wee hours of June 8. A press note from the PRO, Kohima Police informed that the vehicle fled away when signaled to stop for checking. The duty personnel gave chase and after a hot pursuit, the vehicle was found abandoned near Piphema Village and the occupants had escaped under the cover of darkness. In this connection a case has been registered under the NDPS Act for investigation.

 

ABAM ‘Encounter God’ programme ends

Mokokchung, June 12 (MExN): Ao Baptist Church Association (ABAM) Youth Ministry conducted the second Zone ‘Encounter God’ programme from June 8-10 at Impur. Toshi Sanglir, Secretary, ABAM Youth Ministry, Chubatemjen, Coordinator, Sunday School, ABAM and Tekatemjen, Coordinator, ABAM YM were the resource persons of the programme, which was attended by 56 delegates from 14 churches.
