KPC condoles 

Kohima, February 6 (MExN): The Kohima Press Club (KPC) expressed grief at the demise of Nukshilila, mother of KPC Joint Secretary Alem Jamir, who passed away on February 6 in Dimapur at the age of 87. 

“The KPC family mourns along with the family at the loss of a loving mother and a gentle senior citizen,” it stated in its condolence message.

The KPC prayed for strength and solace for the bereaved family and for the departed soul to rest in peace.

AR apprehends arms dealer

Dimapur, February 6 (MExN): The Assam Rifles (AR) in an operation apprehended one arms dealer in general area Thilixu, Dimapur on February 5.

According to a press release from the AR, the arrest was made after an operation based on specific input was carried out.

One .32 pistol with magazine was reportedly recovered from the apprehended individual.

The person along with the recovered items have been handed over to Diphupar Police station, Dimapur for further investigation, the release informed.
