DIKSHA Nagaland to be launched today

Kohima, April 15 (MExN): Nagaland will launch DIKSHA Nagaland today at 11:00 am at State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), Kohima. DIKSHA (Digital Infrastructure for Knowledge Sharing) has been named as an IT platform for quality intervention for teachers and teacher educators. It will aid teachers in creating and using innovative tech-based solutions in their classrooms.

DPDB Peren meeting on April 17

Peren April 15 (MExN): Deputy Commissioner Peren, Sarita Yadav, IAS in a notification stated that monthly DPDB meeting will be held on April 17, 11:00 am in DC’s Conference Hall New Complex, Peren. Therefore all the members have been informed to attend the meeting positively.

Governor condoles

Kohima, April 15 (MExN): The Governor of Nagaland PB Acharya has condoled the demise of Lt Col Dina Nath Chauhan, who passed away on April 11 at Jakhama. In a message addressed to his son, Lt Gen (Retd) Shokin Chauhan, Governor Acharya conveyed his heartfelt condolence to all members of the family and prayed to Almighty to grant strength and solace to bear the irreparable loss.

DC Tuensang visits Litem village

Tuensang, April 15 (MExN): Chairman DDMA and Deputy Commissioner Tuensang, Mohammed Ali Shihab, IAS visited Litem Village on April 15. On the night of April 13, Litem village was struck by storm destroying 6 houses and one granary. Fortunately, no human casualty was reported. DC and Chairman DDMA inspected the affected houses and relief aids were distributed to the victims.
