DC Phek informs

Phek, May 30 (MExN): Deputy Commissioner, Phek has informed all concerned that the hiring charge for private vehicle and the allowances for government vehicle drivers and requisition during Lok Sabha Election 2019 will be released from May 29 onwards till June 15 at Deputy Commissioner Office, Phek during the office hour. However No payment will be made on the mentioned date. In another notification, DC Phek, Sachin Jaiswal, IAS informed all concerned that hiring charges for private vehicles and allowances for government drivers for the vehicles requisitioned during elections will be released from May 29 onwards till June 15 at DC office, Phek during office hour. No payment will be made after the mentioned date. All concerned are to produce vehicle Requisition form in original to collect the payment.

NSE, NBSE to hold one-day seminar

Kohima, May 30 (MExN): Kohima Excise duty party with the apprehended person on May 29.The National Stock Exchange (NSE) Academy Ltd. and Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE), Kohima will be organizing a one-day seminar programme with the heads of institutions on June 3, 10:00 am at Capital Convention Centre, Kohima. The NSE team led by Abhilash Misra, Chief Executive Officer of National Stock Exchange (NSE) Academy Ltd. and Avik Gupta, Senior Manager, National Stock Exchange (NSE) Academy Ltd. and Menukhol John, Principal Secretary to the Government of Nagaland, Department of School Education & SCERT, Kohima will be interacting with the heads of institutions. Asano Sekhose, Chairman, NBSE in a press release stated that besides a talk on Financial Market Management course, certificates will be distributed to the successful students of this course under NBSE.

Dept of Cooperation to hold prog

Dimapur, May 30 (MExN): The Department of Cooperation will be organizing a programme for distribution of ‘Market Linkage Vehicle’ under the Integrated Cooperative Development Project (ICDP) & ‘Recovery Bike’ under Fast Track Recovery Drive of the State Government on June 4, 11:00 am at Cooperative Training Centre, Medziphema. A DIPR report stated that Minister of Agriculture & Cooperation, G Kaito Aye will grace the programme and launch off the vehicles.

ICDS-CAS training concludes

Dimapur, May 30 (MExN): The final phase of the month long ICDS-CAS training at Duncan Community Hall, Dimapur concluded on May 30. In a press release from Watimenla, IA Dimapur, congratulating the trainees on successful completion of the training, Child Development Project Officer, Dimapur (U) Project, Robert Odyuo, urged the Anganwadi workers to use their new found knowledge towards better service to the beneficiaries and the community as a whole. CDPO also acknowledged the Master Trainers for their selfless service throughout the training. He also expressed his appreciation to the Duncan Council.

Kiphire holds meeting on plastic free campaign

Kiphire, May 30 (MExN): A joint meeting was held in Kiphire on May 29 at DC’s Conference hall to discuss the plastic free awareness campaign. According to DIPR report, ADC, Kiphire appealed to the ward leaders and church leaders to give proper guidance and awareness to the public. Suggestions from ward leaders were put forward and the district administration advised all the 11 ward chairmen and officers to make bamboo enclosure in their respective offices and wards for throwing away wastes. It was also informed that a fine will be imposed on defaulters. KTCC also requested the district administration to inform the butchers, fishmongers and every business person to stop using plastic. DC, Kiphire informed the ward leaders that an inspection will be held on June 4 in all the wards and on June 5, during World Environment Day where awards will be given to the wards maintaining the bamboo enclosure properly.

PDBAS elects new team

DIMAPUR, MAY 30 (MExN): The Peren District Beauty and Aesthetics Society (PDBAS) has elected a new set of office bearers for the tenure 2019-21. A press note from the PDBAS informed that the new team include President, Keyiningle; Vice President, Nchillungle; Secretary, Ngauzeulungbe; Joint Secretary, Ngautube; Treasurer, Kangyichule; Finance, Er Asembe; Property Secretary, Namkwazeule; Asst Property Secretary, Kogum; and Info/Publicity, Hanggauyi.

NSCN (IM) mourns demise of member

Hebron, May 30 (MExN): The NSCN (IM) has mourned the untimely demise of Gaizinglung Gonmei, a Khapur of Union Territory who passed away on May 29 after a prolonged illness. A condolence message issued by MIP read, “For his selfless service rendered to the Naga nation, his name shall be recorded in the pages of the Naga history and his sacrifices ever be cherished.” The GPRN conveyed heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family members and prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace.

ZCNEI condoles demise of Anthony

Dimapur, MAY 30 (MExN): The Zeme Council North East India (ZCNEI) has expressed deep sorrow over the demise of Late Haideu Anthony. A condolence message from the Council read that he was an active and committed social worker who worked tirelessly for his people. “He will be remembered for his endurance and selfless contribution towards his people.” ZCNEI further conveyed its deepest condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for the departed soul to rest in eternal peace.

Vivienda Girls Hostel Kohima celebrates freshers day

KOHIMA, MAY 30 (MExN): The Vivienda Girls Hostel, Lower Chandmari, Kohima conducted its Freshers Day on May 26 with Advocate Kezhokhoto Savi, President, NVCO & Asst. Professor, Kohima Law College as guest speaker. While addressing the students, Savi said that “God fearing, good discipline and hard working are the three foremost essential qualities that a student should possess to be successful in life.” He also shared the importance of women’s role in shaping society and building the nation. Savi also presented a gospel song. The hostel proprietor, Neisedenuo acknowledged the freshers with gifts and gave the best disciplined award and best friend award to Ruchupfe and Moaren respectively. Speeches on behalf of freshers and seniors were given by Ahile and Moaren respectively.
