Under the patronage of the Yimkhiung Tribal Council (YTC), the Yimkhiung Youth Organization (YYO) was formed at its tribal headquarter Shamator town on May 27, 2023. The YYO is formed with a vision to protect, and preserve its rich cultural heritage and to protect the integrity and unity of the Yimkhiung Naga. YYO will be led by Apong Janger as President along with six other officials and three advisors. The first executive meeting was held on June 23 at Shamator Town. YYO will cover all Yimkhiung jurisdictions and Yimkhiung citizens from 25-50 years of age will be enrolled on membership of YYO.
