Chunggin Hangsing, Second-in-Command of the 173 Bn CRPF flagging off the concluding event of “Fit India Freedom Run-2” conducted as a part of  “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav,” at its Unit Headquarter on October 2.  As a part campaign, several events was organised from August 12-October 2 at its Unit HQ and company deployed in Dimapur & Mokokchung. The closing event at Unit Hq with a run of 6 kilometre was held with participation of 630 personnel including unit officers and jawans participated actively. Zeneikho-o Pfukha, NSS Nodal Officer from Department of Youth Resource and Sports, Nagaland visited Livingstone Foundation International College (LFIC), Dimapur on October 7. During the visit, Pfukha interacted with students and encouraged them to take NSS. He said that NSS makes the students confident, develop leadership skills, and gain knowledge about different people from different walks of life. Students also learn other skills that help them lead a better life in various situations. On the NSS motto, ‘not me, but you’, he stated it underlines the fact that the welfare of an individual ultimately depends on the welfare of the society.
