Nagaland: Open penalty shootout tourney held at Diphupar

DIMAPUR, MARCH 22 (MExN): The Barefoot Welfare Society, Diphupar organized a one day open penalty shootout tournament with the theme ‘Strong to the Finish’ on March 21 at Diphupar village local ground.
United Boys won the tournament with a cash prize of Rs 50,000. Ao Students Union Diphupar were the runners up and won a cash prize of Rs. 20,000 and the Golden Glove was awarded to Imti from Ao Students Union Diphupar. He received a cash prize of Rs. 2000. The opening program was chaired by S BendangImsong, General Secretary, BWS, while the invocation was pronounced by Enyar Jamir, Associate Pastor (Music Ministry) ABCD.

The keynote address was delivered by Rejosanen, President, BWS, and a special song was presented by Akokla Langu. The special invitee for the opening was Hewoto Sema, District Agriculture Officer, Peren. The Match Patron for the Semi Finals was Ghuzui Shohe, Chairman Diphupar Village Council and the Special Invitee for the Finals was Atila Longkumer, Diphupar. She gave away the prize money awards to the winners.
