Kohima, February 15 (MExN): In a major reshuffle in the Police Department, the Nagaland police have ordered transfer and posting of number of State’s IPS and NPS officers on February 15 in the ranks of IGPs/DIGPs/SPs/Comdts besides promotion of other officers. Separate notifications issued by Home Commissioner R Ramakrishnan regarding the same informed the officers were either shifted on promotion or changes in present place of posting or functions.
The changes were made on the basis of the recommendation of the Police Establishment Board, the notifications added.
