Nagaland prayer convention concludes

Our Correspondent Kohima | April 10   The three-day Nagaland Prayer Convention, which began on April 8 under the theme “In the beginning was the word, and the word was with God, and the word was God”, concluded this evening at Nagaland Christian Revival Church (NCRC), PR Hill, Kohima.   The main speakers of the convention were Rev. Neivotso Neikha, Mission Director, North East India Christian Revival Church and Sanyi Nyekha, Pastor, Chiesezou CRC.

Yangulie Sanchu, Pastor, NCRC, PR Hill informed that the convention was held under the directive of Lord’s programme to pray for the Nagas to have peace, unity and tranquility among the people and to rededicate themselves to serve God.   He also said the convention was very successful as thousands of people from various churches, irrespective of denomination, came and attended the services and many were blessed. He called upon the people to rededicate and serve God with all humbleness and faithfulness as “the last day is nearing.”   Preaching the gospel to the congregation, Rev. Neivotso Neikha said prayer is a very important tool to open the gate, window and door of heaven for God to pour out his spirit and blessing upon the people. He therefore encouraged the people to pray to God without cease.   During the three-day service, Avibou Mor, Chathe Prayer Christian Centre and Adi Sothu, NCRC, PR Hill, Kohima chaired the programme, while Khezhakeno, CRC Youth Choir, presented special song.
