Nagaland PWD bids farewell to engineer–in-chief Er. Khupi Natso

Nagaland Public Works Department (NPWD) today bade farewell to its outgoing Engineer-in-chief Er. Khupi Natso who retired after serving the department for 35 years.  

In a farewell programme organized in his honour by the department at NPWD conference hall, Er. Khupi Natso expressed gratitude to the department’s staff and officers for their constant support and encouragement throughout his tenure in the office.  

He urged the senior officers of the department to complete the unfinished task by giving pressure to the government which are very important projects for the upcoming generations.  

He also appealed the commissioner and secretary W & H to transfer and promote the rightful engineers in time for betterment of the department.  

Er. Natso advised the department staff and officials to work together as a team with transparency and never bring defame to the integrity of the department.  

Commissioner and secretary W&H Bendangkokba in his address said the retiring engineer-in-chief was knowledgeable and thorough with the subject matter and wished him a very fruitful retiring life as he venture into different life.  

Chief Engineer PWD (R&B) Er. K. Rhetso said Er. Khupi Natso has given his best service for the department and set good example to other officers.  

Chief engineer Police Engineering Project (PEP) Er. P. Lanu Aier in his address said Er. Natso was always calm and approachable and many mega projects were his brainchild.  

Chief architect NPWD Ar. K. Angami in his address said the retiring officer was an inspiration and role model to many young officers.  

Additional chief engineer PWD (H) Er. H. Kahuto Sumi said Er. Natso is an officer who is hard working, possessed innovative ideas, lively, full activities for the department, punctual and never keep the file pending.  

Chief engineer PWD (NH) Er. R. Temsutemjen, additional chief engineer, PWD (mech) Er. Tsashika Wotsa, president AOE (NPWD) Er. Lima Akum and other department officials also addressed the gathering. The programme was chaired by Dy. Chief engineer Er. P.I. Imna Ao while Er. Lopongol Angami SE (D) PWD (R&B) proposed vote of thanks.
