Nagaland Sport Climbing Team bags 2 medals in national event

Thanglalmon Thomsong from the Nagaland Sports Climbing Association being awarded at the All India Sport Climbing Competition.

DIMAPUR, SEPTEMBER 11 (MExN): The Nagaland Sport Climbing Association (NSCA) won two medals at the All India Sport Climbing Competition organised by IMF North East Zone.

The event was held at the Indian Himalayan Centre for Adventure and Eco-tourism, Chemchey, South Sikkim from September 6 to 8. 

Four climbers from Nagaland represented the North East in Speed and Lead events. Thanglalmon Thomsong, a Sub Junior boy from Government Middle School, Phaipijang bagged the Silver medal in Speed and the Bronze medal in Lead. 

NSCA President, Aketo Ayemi congratulated all the participants for bringing laurels to the State of Nagaland and wished them success in the days to come.
