On Nagaland Statehood Day, Dr Shürhozelie unfurls national flag at Nagaland House Delhi

DIMAPUR DECEMBER 1 (MExN): Dr Shürhozelie Liezietsu, former Chief Minister of Nagaland and NPF president on December 1, 2017 unfurled the national flag at Nagaland House, New Delhi, as Nagaland House staff celebrated the 54th Nagaland Statehood Day.  

In his address, Dr Shürhozelie recalled the time when the President of India, Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan had come to Kohima on December 1, 1963 to inaugurate the Nagaland State as the 16th state under the Indian Union.  

Today, Nagaland State has adopted a work culture in functioning with the Union Government of India, Dr Dr Shürhozelie maintained, according to a press received from Kuolie Mere, PRO, Nagaland House, New Delhi.  

The function was also attended by Namri Nchang, Parliamentary Secretary for Sericulture, HG & CD, N.Thomas Ngullie, Parliamentary Secretary for Technical Education, visitors, officers from the state and the staff of Nagaland House, New Delhi.
