Nagaland wrestling team leave for Khelo India 2020

Seven members Nagaland wrestling team led by Kikhwesul Thokhwe as coach left Nagaland this evening to participate in the ongoing Khelo India 2020 in Guwahati, Assam.


The wrestlers include; Noseno for 48 kg category, Vikono (52 kg), Vizoseno (56 kg), Nukhruzolu (57 kg), Kusayi (60 kg), Ngonuyi (51 kg) and  Nuto (55 Kg).


Nagaland Wrestling Association (NWA) general secretary Vekhozo informed that the wrestling competition will start from January 16 to 19.


The team will return on January 20.


Before the departure, NWA officials led by its president Neivikuolie Khatsu interacted with the wrestlers at Indira Gandhi Stadium Kohima on January 12 and encouraged them to give their best to bring laurel to the state.


As per the two state wrestling coaches, they expect good performance and hoped that they will bring good name to the state.
