NDPP Tuensang region & CEB team visit USBLA

Tuensang, November 17 (MExN): The Central Executive Board (CEB) members of the Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) in-charge NDPP Tuensang Region on November 11 paid a cordial visit to the United Sangtam Baptis Lithro Association (USBLA) Yangli.


riefly interacted, discussed and shared the NDPP’s Principles and ideologies with the officials of the mission center in the presence of Mr. Tsilise, Youth Secretary, Mrs. Surotsala, Christian Education & Literature, Mr. Lipong, Cashier, Mr. M. Sangyu, Mission Secretary, Ms. Selila, Finance Secretary, and Ms. Aprei, Women Secretary of the Baptist Mission Center. The NDPP CEB team led by Mr. T.L. Merry, General Secretary was accompanied by the party’s Tuensang Region President, Mr. L. Tochi Chang and team. 


Shedding glimpses of light on the Principles and values of the NDPP, the visiting CEB members asserted that – The party stands for peace, unity and brotherhood and it shall shun and oppose all forms of violence, discrimination and oppression, with the objective to strive for peace, universal brotherhood and promote a sense of unity and oneness in society for the good and progress of all, regardless of race, creed, gender, age, disability and religion.


The CEB Team, along with the NDPP Tuensang Region were on a special tour programme to visit all the assembly constituencies under the party’s Tuensang region, and made it a point to begin the journey forward by paying homage to this religious administrative centre (USBLA) Yangli; and do acknowledge the officials of USBLA Yangli for their warm response and for invoking Almighty God’s blessings and good will upon the NDPP and also, the visiting members. “This is the first time ever that a political party visited the Mission Center, interacting and seeking God’s blessings. This is history”. Remarked the USBLA Women Secretary, Ms. Aprei, one of the speakers.


The touring team then headed for the venue of the 52 Longkhim-Chare assembly constituency meeting and had a detail discussion and briefings over the ongoing special enrollment drive 2019. 


Except 57th Thonokbyu A/C which could not be reached due to difficult road condition following the continues inclement weather, all other assembly constituencies under NDPP Tuensnag Region were visited and warmly attended meetings held with satisfactory deliberations towards party strengthening.


The visiting CEB members along with the President, NDPP Tuensang Region and team also called on the Dy. Commissioner Tuensang and had a cordial discussion vis-à-vis the need for improvement of Tuensang Town in particular and the District in general.
