NE Regional Level Standard Judging Camp underway

Dimapur, January 19 (MExN): The Nagaland State Bharat Scouts & Guides is hosting the North-East Regional Level Standard Judging Camp from January 17 to 21 at the State Training Centre, Nerhema.


Altogether 71 scouts and guides, 10 North-East Regional Staff Professionals and seven State Headquarter Staff members (88 members in total) from Manipur, Meghalaya, Nagaland, NF Railways and Sikkim are camping at one of the largest Training Centres in the North-East Region.


A press release issued by Press and Publicity Convenor, NER Standard Judging Camp 2019 stated that this Standard Judging Camp is to test and check the qualities of an individual Scout/Guide whether he/she has earned up to a certain qualified level in Scouting and Guiding. Skills on Camp Crafts, First-Aid, Pioneering Projects, Mappings, Estimations, Campfire, Flag Ceremony, Backwoodsman Cooking (Cooking without Utensils), Fire Rescue, B.P. Six (Exercise/Physical Fitness), Drills and March Past, Dialogue presentation on Development of Scouting/Guiding and other Projects are being judged and rated from their performances.


The final programme will be on the evening of January 20 at the State Training Centre, Nerhema where Prizes and Certificates will be awarded to the winners. Atuo Mezhür Sekhose, State Chief Commissioner of Nagaland State Bharat Scouts and Guides will be the Campfire Chief alongwith the Regional Organising Commissioner of Scouts (North-East Region) Ch. Birendra Kumar Singh.
