Guwahati, March 2 (MExN): NERIM Group of Institutions observed the 33rd National Science Day as a daylong programme on February 28.
The celebration was marked with an All Assam Inter College Prize Money Quiz Competition and a Programming Competition with participation from colleges and Universities across the state.
Quiz master Sailen Baishya conducted the quiz competition and Asst Prof, Gauhati University Dr. Sanjeeb Kalita was the judge.
Software Technology Park of India Guwahati Director Prabir Kumar Das graced the occasion as speaker. He highlighted the significance of Science Day and the pros and cons of human critical thinking towards the word Science.
The Director of the institution emphasized on the theme 'Science for people and people for Science' in building a constructive society through a short and graceful narrative.
