A newly constructed section of building at Government High School, Dilong, Mokokchung constructed under RMSA was inaugurated on September 12 with Joint Director, School Education, Rowainla as the chief guest. The chief guest said GHS Dilong which is the oldest school in Mokokchung town is blessed to have a much needed building. She added that with the improvement in the infrastructure of the school, both teachers and students must re-dedicate themselves so that the school would excel in academic results as well as in other aspects. While stating that the teachers are lucky to be teaching in a government school, Rowainla urged the teachers to be more efficient and hardworking since the sincerity and quality of the teachers are reflected through the students. She also urged the students to be more committed in their studies and said students in government schools are fortunate for there are better and more qualified teachers in government schools. Headmistress of the school, Kibangsangla delivered a note of gratitude; Dedicatory prayer was said by Associate Pastor MTBA, Rev. Chuba. Special song was presented by the students of class 10 (A) while the programme was chaired by Imyapangla G/T. The programme was attended by members from the School Managing Board, Dilong Ward Authority and well wishers.(DIPR News)
