New GMS building at Tsiesema inaugurated

MLA Dr. Neiphrezo Keditsu today inaugurated the newly constructed school building of Government Middle School Tsiesema village under Kohima district.  

This new school building was constructed under LADF 2017-18.  

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Keditsu expressed happiness over the proper utilization of the funds provided.  

Maintaining that the accomplishment of any government scheme or project is entirely dependent on mass participation of the public, he lauded Tsiesema villagers for its unity and collaborative contribution towards the successful construction of the new school building.  

He asserted that the implementation of the government schemes and projects faces hindrances on several levels due to absence of mass participation of the public.

  In this, he urged upon the villagers to continue to extend their utmost in the developmental activities and gain maximum benefit.  

Claiming that the government has been giving special focus towards the rapid growth of education by investing huge money, Dr. Keditsu expressed deep concern over the present scenario of educated unemployed youth in the state and stressed on the need to desist from depending too much on government sector, saying that the time has come to give importance to private sector.  

Dr. Keditsu felt that the degree oriented education system in the country unlike career oriented education system in other countries, is one area of inviting unemployment problem today.  

Sekhoniilii Thingo, SDEO Chiephobozou urged upon the public of Tsiesema village to give a collective effort in making GMS Tsiesema village as one of the best schools under SDEO Chiephobozou.  

Acknowledging each and every individual who contributed towards the completion of the new school building, Tsiesema village chairman Ruokuotuolie Mere requested the authority concerned to make available study materials and school uniforms on time in the best interest of the students.  

He also called upon the villagers to stay united and move forward collectively for inclusive development of the village.  

Kruzo Mere, Chairman Tsiesema Basa also spoke at the function. Building Committee Convenor Thepfukuolie Khro gave a brief report of the construction.  

The function was chaired by TVYO advisor Mhalelhou Mere while welcome address was delivered by Tsiesema village head GB Kruluolie Yhor.  

Chiephobozou BDO Seyiekhrielie Rio and several other dignitaries also graced the occasion.
