NNC, FGN joint meeting
Kohima, January 22 (MExN): The FGN has convened a joint meeting of the Naga National Council (NNC) and the Federal Government of Nagaland (FGN) on January 27, 10:00 am at the Transit Peace Camp (TPC), Kohima. As per a press release from Thihü Khamo, Secretary, FGN the meeting will discuss on various issues of the Nation. Therefore, all the Central Authorities, Regional Authorities and eligible Naga Army officers are requested to attend the meeting. Any concerned authority who fails to attend the without valid reason will be considered as a nominal national worker, the release said.
Pfutsero Inter-departmental meet
Phek, January 22 (MExN): The Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Pfutsero has informed all the Heads of Offices under Pfutsero sub-division that the inter-departmental monthly co-ordination meeting will be held on January 28, 11:00 am at the Conference Hall of the ADC, Pfutsero. The ADC in a circular has informed all concerned to attend the meeting without fail.
CDAC SMS facility for Pensioners introduced
Kohima, January 22 (MExN): The office of the Pensioner Accountant General, Nagaland has informed that the office has introduced CDAC SMS facility for Pensioners. As per this system, every Pensioner will be alerted/intimated through SMS regarding status of their pension at different stages of Pension processing and finalization of their Pension Cases, informed the Senior Accounts Officer, Pension Section in a press release. Pensioners/ Retiring Employees who are processing their pension papers have been requested to furnish their Mobile Numbers in their Pensions Papers in the address column to avail this facility, the release informed.
Free coaching for polytechnic entrance exam in Wokha
Wokha, January 22 (MExN): A Wokha-based coaching institute 101 Learning Curve Coaching under its social initiative ‘Skills Upscale’ will be offering free mentoring to aspirants for Polytechnic Entrance examination (Diploma in engineering courses). Founder/Chief Mentor, 101 Learning Curve Yiben R Humtsoe, in a press release also informed that students who will be appearing class 10 exam or have passed HSLC, may apply. To avail the service, aspirants may register their names on or before February 10. The classes will begin after the NBSE HSLC examination at the study centre, located below GHSS Wokha. DC Phek reschedules compensation date
Phek, January 22 (MExN): The Deputy Commissioner Phek, Sachin Jaiswal, IAS has informed that in partial modification and supersession to the notice served vide letter NO.DCP-DEV-SARDP-NE/II(VOL-II)/1188 Dated Phek, January 14, the document verification for Losami and Phek for payment of damage compensation in the ongoing SARDP has been rescheduled. The DC cited the reason as “due to local engagements and as per the verbal request by the Village Council.” The verification will commence from 10:00 am onwards. Losami – February 1 and Phek – February 3.
