Passes for NLA session

Kohima, March 9 (MExN): In view of the first session of the 13th Nagaland Legislative Assembly to be held on March 13, 22, 23, 24, and 26, car passes and official gallery passes will be issued from March 10 onwards. N. Benjamin Newmai, Commissioner & Secretary, NLA in a press release informed that Ministers and Administrative Head of Departments (AHODs) are to collect car passes and gallery passes from the Special Secretary (Home), Civil Secretariat, Nagaland, Kohima. Head of Departments (HODs)/media are to collect car passes from Reception Counter Gate No-I, Nagaland Legislative Assembly Secretariat. Meanwhile, MLAs/PS/PA and other departments have been directed to collect car passes from Reception Counter Gate No-II, Nagaland Legislative Assembly Secretariat.


Dimapur Sakshi union general meeting

Dimapur, March 9 (MExN): The Dimapur Sakshi Union will hold its annual general meeting on March 10, 10:00 am onwards at the residence of its treasurer H. Molem Phom at Signal Angami Village, Dimapur. All the union members have been requested to attend the same without fail. A press release from the union further requested all the members to bring yearly membership fee to the meeting.


Scooty recovered in Dimapur

Dimapur, March 9 (MExN): The team of NSCN (IM) Dimapur Town Command Zone-I has recovered Mahindra scooty (dark red and black in colour), bearing engine number MDECCO18967 and chassis number MCDMD1B1VC1C17892 on March 8. Therefore, Major Simon, Adjutant Dimapur Town Command, Zone-I NSCN (IM) in a press release has informed the “main owner” to claim the scooty by producing authentic documents within five days. Nyekha Studio at Naga United Village

Dimapur, March 9 (MExN): A new studio called Nyekha Studio was dedicated at Naga United Village, Dimapur on March 8. The studio, an extension of School of Music Dimapur, is located at the campus itself. It was dedicated by Rev. Dr. Shiwoto Asumi, Board of Director SOMD. “With the purpose of providing cheap and affordable service, the studio is now open to all musicians wishing to record and edit their compositions,” stated a press release.


Workshop on teaching practices held

Dimapur, March 9 (MExN): A workshop on teaching practices was held at St. John College on March 7. Akok Walling, principal of Dimapur Government College, who was the resource person, spoke on the importance of maintaining balance between content of lesson and process of delivering it, use of gadgets and technology as teaching aids, having learner centric educational environment, the need to improve communication skills and the purpose of different streams.
